Security Startup IR Festival 2020 in Seoul, South Korea

Spiceware, a company providing a cloud-based personal information protection service, announced that it was selected as the most promising startup at the ‘Security Startup IR Festival.’

‘Security Startup IR Festival’ is an event organized by MSIT, KISA, and KRX to accelerate M&A and attract investment among Information Security Startups. It was organized to help the startups that are finding it difficult to enter the market due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the event included IR presentation/consultation and M&A training.

Spiceware was selected as the most promising startup in this festival by presenting its cloud-based personal information protection service. It was selected for its marketability, technology, and innovation.

Notably, Spiceware’s ‘Spiceware on Cloud’ is a subscription-based service that allows the customers to buy different services like Data Protection, Access Log Management, and Anonymization & Pseudonymization appropriately based on needs. It is gaining popularity within the industry by simplifying compliance with Personal Information Protection Act.

Keunjin Kim (CEO) stated, “I am proud for winning first place at the festival … we will expand our business beyond Korea into the global market.”
